About the League

The East Beaumont Timberwolves were founded in 2018, as we found a need to offer the parents and kids of Beaumont's north and south sides a local organization. 2018 was our inaugural season with the STJFL, our parent league. In just our first season, our teams made the playoffs in each division.

We are one of sixteen (16) associations that play in and around the Golden Triangle. Our ages range from 5-12 and the divisions are Flag (5-6), Pee Wee Tackle (7-8), Junior Tackle (9-10), and Senior Tackle (11-12).

We only play (or compete with) teams within the Golden Triangle area, so there is no extensive traveling. The other teams within the STJFL organization are West Beaumont Bulldogs, Nederland, Port Neches-Groves, Bridge City, Orangefield, Port Arthur, West Orange Stark, Little Cypress-Mauriceville, Lumberton, Vidor, Kountze, Hamshire-Fannett, East Chambers, Jasper, and Silsbee.

We are excited about our affiliation with the USA Football League which is backed by the NFL. Our Board of Directors carefully selects coaches to represent the Association and they are required to complete a certification process which provides them not only with adequate knowledge about football fundamentals for our youth, but also safety precautions. Please take the time to thank our coaches for their hard work, time and effort that they put forth to benefit your children.

We are a non-profit, all volunteer organization, so please volunteer to help. We need your support.
Our season runs from the first week of August (when we begin conditioning) to the middle of November, depending on playoffs and Bowl game schedules.
We practice and play home games at a location to be announced at a later date.

Athletic Program

You must be committed to participate in this program!!

Our program requires a serious approach for player results to be gratifying. We, as coaches, will give 100% of our effort towards developing each player's skills and mental awareness of the game of football through a distinct balance of physical conditioning and focus on the basic fundamentals. It is imperative that each player exudes a positive attitude and participates willingly at all times.

Timberwolves Pride

Pride is dignity & self-respect through satisfaction of achievement. Leading programs always convey a sense of unyielding pride in order to be successful. This is why it is extremely important to embrace your team, as well as your community, and be supportive in every way possible.

Players are expected to participate at every practice. Playing time will result from the amount of time, effort, and enthusiasm demonstrated in drills and group activities. If a player refuses to dedicate himself to practice every day, then our program may not be right for them. Practices are closed to ensure quality and absolute attention without interruption. Our "closed practice" policy means that parents should not coach from the sidelines or communicate with their kids during practices. Only coaching staff and board members with a displayed badge will be allowed on the field. Positive comments and cheering from the sidelines for things well done are of course encouraged and appreciated. If you need to talk to your child's coach please do so either before or after practice.

Team Posture

A team is a small number of people with complementary skills who are committed to a common purpose, performance goals, and approach for which they hold themselves mutually accountable.
